Parasols, Berets, and Halos! Oh my! It's Valentine's Day 2022 in Royale High! Every February Royale High has Valentine's Day themed updates that include specialty outfits, wings, halos, and more! This special, Valentine's Day themed class will allow Outschool Royale High fans to play and socialize with learners from around the world and show off their new items, on my private server, while exploring all of the amazing map updates! This is a discussion-based class that is great for socializing kids who share a love for Roblox and even more specifically, Royale High! This is a fun and relaxed virtual experience for learners while practicing social skills! I will be guiding them along in the discussion to make sure everyone gets a chance to participate. I will be providing tips and tricks with them as I do research on all updates that come out. At the beginning of class, I always go over safety tips/rules while playing on Roblox (including not giving out personal information and what to do if you witness Cyber Bullying). ****Royale High can be glitchy due to the graphics in the game. Some older devices do not work with Royale High. Make sure your learner has access to the game with no issues before signing up for class! Please send me a message prior to class if you have any issues so I can try to help.**** -Learner's parent/guardian must provide the learner's Roblox username prior to class in a private message (this cannot be shared on the classroom page due to Outschool Safety and Privacy Policies) -The learner should have a Roblox account setup prior to class -Learners will be joining my private server which only the learners enrolled in the class will have access too -It is best that learners have a second device to play Roblox on (separate from the Zoom class) but it is not required (Please note that sometimes there can be lagging issues if the device or computer cannot handle both zoom and Roblox) -I will unfriend learners after class due to keeping servers private and allowing space for others. -The learner should have a Roblox account setup prior to class
-Learners will be joining my private server which only the learners enrolled in the class will have access too
-It is best that learners have a second device to play Roblox on (separate from the Zoom class) but it is not required

Hello! My name is Mrs. Joanna, a teacher who loves video games, and I host many different Roblox social clubs and classes on Outschool! I have been playing Roblox for about 2 years now and find it to be such a great creative outlet. There are so many different, creative and fun games on Roblox and I love hosting these social clubs and classes that give kids a safe place to socialize with other kids who love Roblox! I do my research on these games and actually play these games myself (outside of the social clubs/classes). I love to give tips and tricks and share any updates I know that are coming out.
I started playing video games with my older brothers when I was around 5 years old. Old school Nintendo games such as Tetris, Super Mario Bros, Zelda, and Duck Hunt. I grew up and experienced all of the new systems that came out such as Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, and always enjoyed playing video games as an escape from reality. Video games have certainly changed and come in all formats now which is really awesome.
My oldest daughter introduced me to Roblox and would always talk about all the different games she was playing such as Adopt Me, Royale High, and Meep City. I had no idea what she was talking about until I started playing with her. I did a lot of research on Roblox and mostly about how safe it was and what to look out for. This is something I always go over with not only my daughter but also with my learners in my social clubs and classes! Once I started playing Roblox with my daughter, the more I finally figured out the different terminology and what she had been talking about. I really enjoy Roblox and believe it can spark so much creativity in kids (and adults) as long as they are doing it safely!
I am not just a mom that loves video games! I believe it is all about balance and especially important enjoying activities away from the screen. I am a lover of the outdoors and animals plus spending time with my three kids and husband! I have a B.A. in History and Political Science and over 15 years of working with kids. I have always had a passion for working with kids and spend time every month volunteering with various groups that help kids in a variety of ways that are needed whether educational or they just need someone to talk to.
Can't wait to play Roblox!
