Roblox: Beginner Spanish Club
In this Spanish class learners will have fun playing their favorite games while learning Spanish.
One of the best ways to practice and improve a language is through immersion, playing Roblox is an excellent way to create an immersion experience that will allow learners to use and improve their conversational skills while having some fun!
This class is designed for learners who would like to learn Spanish and are beginning the journey to learn a new language! 

The main focus of this class is to: 
-Create a comfortable environment for Students to increase their confidence in speaking.
-Learn new vocabulary.
-Help correct pronunciation. 
-Practice Speaking.

Each class will begin with a fun Spanish Ice breaker to learn about each other and warm up for our session. 
Following our warm up each learner will have the opportunity to share a little about their gameplay. 
Next, we will review the main vocabulary that we will use during class. 

Week of 30/6: Brookhaven - Get to know you and practice introducing yourself 
Week of 7/7: My Restaurant - Talking about likes and dislikes 
Week of 21/7: Adopt me - Learn animal names and talk about care 
Week of 28/7: Mini games - Colors and Numbers 


Students will be encouraged to use Spanish, I will help students if they seem to have a bit of difficulty with the game or phrasing things in Spanish. Throughout the game I will prompt conversations and asks questions to encourage conversation while correcting pronunciation and grammar with positive reinforcement. 

Technical Requirements: 
-ROBLOX ACCOUNT 
-FRIEND REQUEST SENT BEFORE CLASS 
Once enrolled I will send you my ROBLOX ID in a welcome message and you will need to send me your child's Roblox ID so I can accept them as a friend.  
The best way to make the most of this class is for learners to play Roblox on a separate device from the one they take their Outschool class on to minimize connectivity issues.
