Students will practice their reading, writing and comprehension skills in this twice-a-week class. The four language arts domains will be covered in each class—reading, writing, listening and speaking. Students will engage in grade-level activities that foster reading comprehension and fluency. Learners may enroll at any time because each lesson stands on its own. I will begin each class with a prompt as a reading and writing exercise. Students will create a complete sentence referencing...

Students will need paper and pencils for writing. If the student does not have any reading material, I will provide reading material appropriate to your child's age and reading level through Google Slides.

There will be times that we may be using Google Slides to present materials that are relevant to the lesson. For example, if we are on a lesson that has to do with the letters of the alphabet, or words that begin with certain vowels, I may use Screen Share to present pictures or words on Google Slides that go along with the lesson. Google Slides will only be used during screen sharing in class.
