Students learn how to use reading strategies to improve their ability to comprehend what they are reading.
I offer this class because I am passionate about helping children learn and love to read. I spent nine years working with middle and high school students, many of who struggled with reading and writing. For six of those years, I taught at a school for children with dyslexia. I have found reading strategies are hands down the best way to help kids understand what they are reading.

All assessment is informal. I access students' understanding by asking questions, encouraging participation, giving examples, using repetition, and making sure to address any challenges I am seeing in a subtle, encouraging way. Students are welcome to ask questions at any time. They are also welcome to message me with specific questions related to their learning style or challenge.제공되는 성적
