Students will learn how to start reading. Using Phonemic awareness and Systematic Phonics and Sight Words. Students will learn how to blend two and three letter sounds. I start introducing a single sound and then move into blending two letter sound "at, am, fa, sa," etc. at the end of this course students will be exposed to read three letter sounds like "cat, sat, fat, sam" etc.
I have taught this class to children who are three years old. This class is so enjoyable due to my friend Puppet. Some children might need extra time to process and this is the reason why this is a self paced class where I use a variety of informal assessments to know if the students are understanding the lesson.
