Course Objective:
The main objective of this class is to enhance students' reading abilities, including comprehension, fluency, vocabulary expansion, and critical thinking skills. Our one-on-one sessions ensure personalized attention and customized instruction tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style.

Hi there! I’m Amber Carrico, and I’m so excited to be your teacher!
I’m a proud mom of three amazing daughters, and education has always been something I truly care about. I've been teaching ESL since 2018, and I’ve also had the joy of homeschooling my oldest daughter—which has only deepened my passion for helping kids learn and grow.
I hold a Level 1 Early Childhood Education certificate, which gave me a solid understanding of how kids develop and learn best. I’ve also completed 160-hour certifications in TEFL, TEOL, and TEYL (that’s Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Online, and to Young Learners), so I bring lots of tools and techniques to help every learner succeed in their own way.
When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me curled up with a good book or exploring something new—I love learning just as much as I love teaching! And of course, spending time with my family is one of my biggest joys.
In my classes, my goal is to keep things fun, engaging, and welcoming for students of all ages. I truly believe learning should be accessible to everyone.
