I am so excited to Read Around the World with you! This Summer, we will begin our "Read Around the World" series. You can purchase the books, or find them in the library (BEST option) . We will come together each class-time to read together, Round Have a discussion about what we have learned. If we have time, I may read and/or show them a video about whatever continent we are on. They will also receive a "Read Around the World" map from the Book Girls Guide Reading Challenge to color and fill in, as we read each continent. This book club is aimed at primary school age children, who are working on learning to read. It is not geared for preschool age students. June North America- Treasure Hunters- All American July South America August Europe September Also- just to make sure you know- I will not receive additional benefits through commissions or the like as an affiliate for an order, subscription company package, and I am not an owner of an online store.

Hello! My name is Dina, and I am excited to have you here! First and foremost, I am a mama to 4 kidlings. Most are grown and 3 have left the nest, but I have 1 left at home. I love teaching kids. I love the "aha" on a child's face when they understand a new concept. I love the personalities that I come across. I have been teaching English online for several years to children ages 3-16. I have also been a preschool teacher for over 20 years.
If I could have had another career, I might have been a librarian, because I LOVE reading! Reading is one of my favorite hobbies!
Some of my other hobbies include hiking, gardening, my pets, and cooking!
I believe in finding the spark of curiosity that lives in every child, and encouraging it to grow. I hope to inspire my students through engagement with reading, learning, cooking, a positive mindset, play and laughter.
When I am not teaching classes I am a wedding officiant! I get to marry people~ which is so rewarding and special. :)
I have an ECE degree, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Masters in Business, and a Doctorate in Divinity. I also have my TESOL and TOEFL certifications.
I hope you will be inspired to have a class with me, and I am hopeful your child will have as much fun with me, as I plan to with them!
