Teacher Expertise: I hold a B.S. in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Ph.D. in Education. I am a licensed k-8 teacher, a licensed Reading Specialist, and a licensed ESL teacher. Throughout my life, I have taught children, adults, and my child. I have worked as a tenured education professor, an elementary teacher, a reading specialist, and an ESL teacher. I love to read, and I love to work with children. I am delighted to be teaching on the Outschool platform, and I look forward to working with you and your child.

During a portion of the class, I will be sharing my screen so that children can watch phonics videos such as those on Youtube, HeidiSongs, and PhonicsGarden.
