Please note that while this course will be available for 12 weeks, content will be uploaded for only 8 weeks--I am providing an extra month of access as I know that students may need more time to complete their projects! All sewing will be demonstrated both on a machine and by hand. If your student needs help setting up their machine, please message me! Depending on size, patterns, etc., fabric needs may vary. Students will need about 8 yards of fabric for the front of the quilt (varied patterns/designs), and 8.5 yards for the backing. They will also need about 8 yards of batting (middle layer). Fabric can be second-hand, repurposed, etc. Rotator blade Fabric scissors Ruler/square edge Cutting mat (optional) Pins Needles/threads (matching/coordinating colours or a beige) Sewing machine (optional) Purple elmers glue (optional)
Sewing scissors, rotator blades, and sewing machines can be dangerous. Provide supervision as needed.
