수업 소개
영어 수준 - 알 수 없음
미국 3학년 - 6학년 학년
Hey everyone! I'm excited to have you in class, and I hope you enjoy quilting with me over the next few weeks! Over the next 8 weeks, we are going to work through the steps of making a quilt together. At the end, you should have your own cozy blanket to be proud of! For the first few weeks, I will demonstrate both hand- and machine-sewing. If your student needs help setting up their machine, please message me. Materials listed below are to make a 7'x9' quilt (large enough to cover a double bed). If you want to make a larger or smaller quilt, adjust the number of blocks you make. The best way to get in touch with me is to send me a message. I aim to respond within 24 hours, although that may be delayed on the weekends occasionally. Each week includes a video (or 2-3) where you can work along with me. I'll walk you through every step, from choosing and cutting your fabric, to assembling squares and rows, to sandwiching, basting, and quilting your quilt!. Of course, if you have questions I don't answer in the video, feel free to message me and/or send pictures so I can help you out. Each week's project will probably take you 1-2 hours to complete, although that time will vary depending on the step you're on and your skill level.

교사 전문성 및 자격증
Hello all! I'm so excited to get to know you and see you in the classroom! I have 7 years of teaching experience and love to teach all ages and subjects. I have my M.Ed in teaching, and most of my teaching experience is in upper elementary and ESL education. Classes I offer include French, writing, life skills, Harry Potter, elementary science and math. If there is a class you're interested in that isn't scheduled, please shoot me a message so we can work something out!
Everything I do in the classroom stems from the belief that every child can learn. I also believe that my job as a teacher is first to keep my students safe (physically, emotionally, etc.), then to help them learn, then to help them have fun. I try to make my classes as fun as possible to keep students engaged because I really believe learning can be enjoyable!
