In addition to being a teacher of many years, I am also an avid gardener. Currently, I maintain a small herb garden, some flower gardens, a shade garden, and a few vegetables in pots. I also nurture many beautiful indoor houseplants. I hold a certificate in growing and using medicinal herbs. I once had over two hundred varieties of herbs growing in my home garden, and regularly conducted tours and workshops for school children in my community.
