In Python for Machine Learning and Big Data (Level 4), students will be introduced to essential machine learning concepts, including image recognition, classification, and stock market prediction. The course is structured over 10 lessons, each building on core skills and progressing to more advanced topics like model generation and data analysis. Students will work with real-world datasets, exploring stock prices, weather predictions, and even NBA draft picks to apply machine learning techniques. Python and Google Colaboratory will be used to create models, clean data, and generate predictions. Along the way, they will develop a solid understanding of how machine learning applies to both supervised and unsupervised learning. The course covers topics such as: Image recognition and classification Stock price prediction Flower classification using Python Data cleanup and model generation Students will have opportunities to engage in hands-on projects, gaining experience with each new concept, and will complete a final project that will be presented to the class.
