Class Experience - 
This class meets once a week for 6 weeks. Please check the dates before enrolling.

What is Public Speaking? When do we speak in public?
I will talk about posture, hand gestures and eye contact with the audience in Public Speaking. What does the onlooker think when we do not make eye contact? What do we think when someone does not look us in the eye?
A child's body language is important; the importance of a good posture will be discussed.
The importance of open hand gestures will be explained along with eye contact with the audience. 
I will discuss my own fears and nervousness and how I got rid of them; how empowered and energized I felt when I spoke well in front of an audience.
Each day, We shall discuss a different topic. The handout will be sent 24 hours in advance or soon after a class ends.

As this is a multi-day class, the sessions will roughly follow the agenda listed here.
Introduction - 5 minutes
Topic Introduction and Explanation - 10 minutes
 Participant Practice session  on 2 topics and feedback - 10-15 mins.
Positive reinforcement of a student's strengths &
Learning and takeaway - 5 minutes.

Class Rule :This is an interactive class; hence, the child is expected to keep their cameras turned on, at all times, during the class.

Please check that you are signing up for the correct local  date and time. If class minimum of 2 learners is not met, I shall inform you 24 hours in advance.

Refund / Transfer policy:

As per Outschool limited refund policy, there will be no refund/rescheduling for missed classes.
 I do not offer make up classes. As this is a multi-day class, learners will benefit if they attend all classes.

Day 1 - Introduction to Public Speaking, tools and techniques. Sequential order of speech.
Day 2 - Thought articulation.  Start and close with an interesting sentence.
Day 3 - Language, Grammar and vocabulary. Choice of words. 
Day 4 -  Asking and Answering questions to / by the speaker.
Day 5 - Body Language and its importance. Non verbal cues one transmits to the audience. Dealing with disturbances while speaking.
Day 6 - Tone and volume in speech. Learning and Takeaway.




 Meeting time - Once a week, same day and time of the week.
