In this ongoing, personalized class, I work with one student to focus precisely on the skills they need most to become a stronger, more effective writer.  We can look at skills associated with sentence structure, grammar & punctuation, literary analysis, essay writing, creative writing or any other areas that needs improvement. My aim is to work together with parents and the learner to identify student's specific needs and goals, and then develop classes to achieve them. 

I can work on building these skills through personalized lessons, or through interpreting & editing work that students already have.  Either way, the goal is to find the most direct and effective method of improving the student's language skills. 

As a teacher, I'm always happiest when I can really get to know my students. Everyone is different and everyone learns best in their own unique ways. A personalized one-on-one class like this provides the opportunity to really focus on the learner as an individual and to not only improve their writing skills, but also foster a love of language along the way.
