주당 1-2시간. In our voice lessons, optional homework assignments will be provided to students to support their learning and practice outside of class. Our classes are structured to balance instruction, practice, and fun activities. We begin with warm-up exercises to prepare the voice, followed by focused instruction on a specific technique or concept. The second half of the class is dedicated to applying these skills to songs, allowing students to put theory into practice. How will you teach? We use a combination of demonstration, explanation, and guided practice to facilitate learning. Our voice lessons are intentionally designed to be inclusive and supportive of students with unique learning needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and ASD. We understand that each student learns differently, and we tailor our teaching approach.

In our virtual voice lessons conducted via Zoom, there may be instances where students encounter technical difficulties or interruptions in internet connectivity. While we strive to minimize such occurrences, it's important for students to take extra precautions to ensure a smooth learning experience. This may include having a stable internet connection, familiarizing themselves with Zoom's features, and troubleshooting common issues.
Regarding content, our lessons focus solely on vocal instruction and skill development, with no material that may be upsetting or scary to learners. Additionally, we do not use any media content with official ratings. All instructional materials are age-appropriate and selected to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
As for Zoom, families will be informed about its usage in advance. Students will be required to have access to a Zoom account and familiarize themselves with its functionalities before attending the virtual lessons. We will provide guidance and support to ensure students feel comfortable using Zoom for our classes.

For our voice lessons, learners will need the following supplies: Access to a device with internet connectivity: Students will participate in virtual lessons via Zoom, so they will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. Headphones or earphones (optional but recommended): Headphones or earphones can help improve sound quality and minimize background noise during virtual lessons. Water bottle: Staying hydrated is essential for maintaining vocal health, so students are encouraged to have a water bottle nearby during lessons. Notebook and pen/pencil: Students may wish to take notes or jot down practice assignments during the lesson, so having a notebook and writing utensil on hand can be helpful. Any assigned sheet music or practice materials: Depending on the lesson plan, students may need to print out or have access to specific sheet music or practice materials provided by the instructor. Warm-up exercises or vocal exercises provided by the instructor: The instructor may provide warm-up exercises or vocal exercises for students to practice outside of class. As the instructor for our voice lessons, I bring a wealth of training and experience in vocal instruction and performance. I have received my Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Musical Theatre and Vocal Performance, providing me with a strong foundation in vocal technique, music theory, and performance. With a background in professional performance around New York, I have firsthand experience in applying these techniques in a variety of musical genres, including classical, pop, rock, and jazz.
In addition to my performance experience, I have also honed my teaching skills through years of working with students of all ages and skill levels. I am passionate about creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their vocal abilities and grow as musicians.
