Piano Lessons for All Ages and Skill Levels – Learn to Read Music! 

Welcome to private piano lessons designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. No prior music knowledge required – just a passion for learning. In this class, we focus on learning to read music, piano technique, music theory, ear training, and music notation. Whether you’re starting from scratch or building on prior skills, we’ll work together in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment.

I believe in making learning enjoyable and simple, but learning a new instrument takes dedication and perseverance. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is helping students overcome obstacles and gain confidence in their musical abilities.

As a teacher, I emphasize the importance of independent learning and self-motivation in practice. My students thrive with my practice boxes and sticker reward system, which encourage discipline and consistent effort.

Here’s what a typical beginner lesson looks like:

Introduction to a new concept – such as sitting at the piano, keeping a steady beat, and working through it together.
Music theory activity to reinforce learning.
Learning a new song for the week and tips on how to practice effectively.
Writing down practice assignments to track progress.
Next week, we’ll review your progress, problem-solve any challenges, and either continue working on the current song or start a new one. I use the Piano Adventures Series Lesson and Theory Book to guide students through their learning journey.
