During these learner-directed, individualized one on one sessions, we will work together to develop the skills needed to play the piano and read music. We will meet online once a week for an hour session. At the beginning of each session, we will review previous material. Growing up, I took piano lessons for 9 years and completed up to Grade 8 with the Royal Conservatory of Music. I completed my bachelors degree in Music Education in 2014 and teaching practicum in 2015. I have been teaching music professionally in the public school system as well as private lessons since then.
This will be differentiated to meet students needs. A method book will be required to purchase. I suggest Piano Adventures by Nancy and Randall Faber.. Additionally, I will provide PDF theory worksheets to be completed during the week as well as lesson feedback.
