I'm thrilled to be able to help your child improve their reading and spelling skills! We will spend 10-15 min reading and discussing a given text. We will focus on comprehension of the text and recalling information. For beginner readers we will focus on decoding and phonics skills. We will then cover during the next 10 minutes a spelling rule and go through words that relate to those rules. Learners will be able to be quizzed on said words if parents would like that for their schooling...
Notebook and a writing instrument. If the student has a whiteboard and dry erase markers, that works just as well. If anything else is needed, parents will be notified ahead of time.
Parents can help with studying some words and the rules of English we will go over during each class.
