There are many benefits to children learning music, the National Association for Music Education lists 4 benefits of learning music; an increase in levels of creativity, communication, critical assessment, and commitment. I have two bachelors degrees in music (BA in Music and BM in Music Therapy). I have been part of many choirs, bands, and orchestras throughout my life - from community choirs to district band to the Cappella Giulia (choir) of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. I have always loved music and I love teaching young learners how to play, sing, read, etc.
