We start by learning the very basics, and foundational so your learner can truly enjoy playing songs.
Without an understanding and knowledge of how rhythm is played, counted, and read, students can be left behind feeling confused and feeling defeated. Without rhythm there isn't music. 

- How to Read Guitar Tablature:
Guitar is unlike all other instruments, in that it has its very own sheet music. 
Tablature or "TAB" (as we refer to it) is a very simple and straight forward way to read and write music on guitar. 

- How to Hold & Use a Guitar Pick:
Guitar plectrums or (Guitar Picks for short) are crucial to playing different styles of music on guitar.
I'll show you how  to hold the pick, how to strum with it, picking the right pick, and how to pick individual notes. 

- How to Fret Notes:
Fretting a note on the guitar has a lot to do with your entire posture and positioning of your arms, wrist, and the guitar itself.
Fretting can be the most discouraging part of learning the guitar if it isn't taught properly.
