In this one-on-one tutoring class, I offer a welcoming space for young students to improve their writing skills through personalized lessons. 

Each 30-minute session begins with a short lesson focused on what your child needs most—writing complete sentences, building paragraphs, or exploring creative pieces. I’ll share an example, and then your child will practice with a fun writing prompt. We’ll work together to build their skills and confidence step-by-step and week-by-week.

For older students or for students who need more time, parents can book two 30-minute sessions back-to-back for a full hour of learning. If the writing assignment isn’t finished during class, students can complete it at home and submit it for feedback.

Lessons are interactive. I use different teaching tools—like slides, puppets, and games—based on what suits your child’s learning style best. All students will decorate and maintain a writing journal, where we track their progress and celebrate each milestone!

- Warm-Up Activity: Copywork or a quick review. (Copywork requires students to rewrite a teacher-selected quote, affirmation, or silly sentence in order to warm up their handwriting muscles.)

- Guided Writing Practice: Responding to a fun writing prompt.

Parents can book two 30-minute sessions for more in-depth support or homework help.

As an attentive and empathic listener, my teaching style is patient, engaging, and interactive. I nurture every child's curiosity, but I also believe in asking them what they think the answer is before giving any answers of my own. That way, they build confidence in their thinking processes. Questions are just as important as the answers!
