This course is for any musician that wants to develop their music composition skills. Students will utilize traditional music theory techniques to create original composition. Students will spend time learning learning new and different concepts about music theory and infusing these concepts into their compositions. Each week students will be assigned either a composition assignment or music analysis assignment. Major topics to be covered may include: Notation- pitches, rhythm,...
