This class will begin with the basics for each section. Since it's a private class, we can progress at your kiddo's pace. This class will focus solely on the writing process. While we will have an overview of revise and editing, it will not be the focus. 

Writing and creating is part of the left-hemisphere of the brain. 
Grammar and sentence structure is part of the right-hemisphere of the brain. 
While these skills are connected, they are different. Grouping them together can overload a kiddo intimidated to write because of their spelling or grammar. Those are skills we can work on in another class, if you desire. 



Week 1:
Introduce the Introductory Paragraph
Identify and practice writing Hooks
Identify and practice creating a Thesis Statement

Week 2:
Introduce Body Paragraphs
Practice connecting the Body Paragraph topics to the Thesis Statement

Week 3:
Writing the Concluding Paragraph
An overview of Revise and Editing
