This private 1:1 tutoring class is a one-on-one version of any of my current writing, phonics, and reading classes listed below. You can choose the class that best suits your child’s skill level, and once enrolled, we can easily adjust the level as needed. 

Parents can choose to book as many sessions per week as they wish and even alternate between classes. For more information or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.


WRITING CLASSES

Level 1:
LETTERS & ALPHABET - WRITING PRACTICE 
Typically for ages 3-5 *

In this class, students will learn to write the letters of the alphabet, focusing on letter formation, placement, and proper pencil grip to build confidence and strengthen writing skills, while also enhancing letter recognition.


Level 2:
BEGINNER WORD TRACING, WRITING & SPELLING PRACTICE
Typically for ages 5-6 *

In this class, students will enhance their writing skills by tracing, spelling, and handwriting words, while also focusing on proper letter formation and placement. They will also work on spelling and sounding out words, identifying beginning and ending sounds, and more!


Level 3:
WORDS, SPELLING AND GRAMMAR- WRITING PRACTICE
Typically for ages 6-7 *

This fun writing practice class focuses on spelling and handwriting words, while students also get an introduction to fundamental grammar concepts and parts of speech. 


Level 4:
WRITING SKILLS & GRAMMAR PRACTICE
Typically for ages 6-7 *

In this class, students will be practicing handwriting words and full sentences while learning fundamental grammar concepts, and boosting their spelling skills and accuracy.

PHONICS / READING CLASSES

BEGINNER PHONICS, READING & WRITING - MEET THE WORD FAMILIES!
Typically for ages 4-5 *

In this fun and engaging early readers class students will learn to read CVC words. Learners will get introduced to word families, we will sound out words and read short decodable stories together using interactive slides with adorable illustrations, fun games, activities and more!


PHONICS FUN: MASTERING BLENDS, DIGRAPHS, VOWEL PATTERNS AND MORE!
Typically for ages 6-7*

In this class, we will explore beginning and ending blends, triple blends, long vowel CVCe words, long/short vowel three-letter word families, double letters, and beginning and ending digraphs and trigraphs. Using engaging slides and illustrations, we’ll create an interactive learning experience that lays a strong foundation for reading.


READING COMPREHENSION 
Typically for ages 6-7*

In this class, students will explore short stories, practice comprehension skills, and strengthen their ability to sequence and retell stories through discussions, story-based questions, and activities. /Prerequisite: Students should be able to read short stories independently./

Writing classes: Parents will be provided downloadable PDFs to print each week. These worksheets include fun writing activities and a lined writing paper. Students will be able to follow along and practice using the worksheets as I explain and demonstrate each exercise step-by-step on the screen. At the end of each session, learners can proudly share their work by holding it up to the camera for feedback and encouragement.
