Weekly lessons will focus on improving or advancing a student's skills in areas of reading and writing. Reading lessons will focus on decoding words, fluency, improving word accuracy, and comprehension. Students will also be guided in enhancing their writing abilities. Students will learn proper grammar, how to add details to sentences, organize their thoughts, express ideas clearly, and the importance of sentence variety. Students will be given various activities to help ensure understanding of all reading and writing concepts. Each class is tailored to provide students with an opportunity to learn at their own pace.
