I am a licensed elementary teacher with over 10 years experience teaching in classrooms, as a reading teacher, and online.   This class is designed to help your child in a private setting to gain more confidence with reading skills.  Whether your child is just learning letters and sounds, ready to start blending sounds together, or needing some support with reading fluency or comprehension-we can work together to help your child improve!  Prior to our first session, we will communicate to discuss what skills your child needs support with so we can create goals together. 

Some topics we may work on include:
-Letter Identification
-Letter Sounds
-Sight Words
-Blends/digraphs
-Blending CVC words (examples: cat, hug, run)
-Reading words with the silent 'e' (examples: mile, sale, rope)
-Capital letters/punctuation in a sentence
-Reading fluency
-Reading comprehension
