This course is designed to help your learner based on their individual needs whether that is for one-time help on a topic, to reinforce skills they are learning, or if they are trying to move ahead. We will communicate beforehand to understand what your child needs help with and go from there.  

Tutoring sessions are designed to be 30 minutes long to ensure your student can learn and practice skills without overwhelm, frustration, and to ensure they remain engaged and interested. My goal is to help your child learn and grow in their capabilities while having fun!

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

-Subtraction with regrouping
-Addition with regrouping
-Multiplying decimals 
-Dividing decimals
-Multiplying multi-digit numbers
-Telling time
-Fractions
-Order or operations
-Geometry
-Long division

As an educator I am casual, energetic, positive, and love to see students engaged and having fun while learning. 

I have experience in a high-needs elementary setting teaching math to learners with a variety of abilities and ages. I also lead after-school math tutoring sessions.

Note: Knowledge of math facts is required close to or at mastery, as math facts will only be reinforced in this tutoring course.
