Let's twirl like a princess with Miss Lauren on a magical ballet journey each week! Each week we will dance to a new princess! In the first few minutes of class, learners will have the opportunity to connect with Miss Lauren! We will begin our princess ballet dance class with fun and engaging warm up exercises that will wake up and stretch our bodies. We will learn basic Ballet positions and steps and then will continue to work on movement through basic motor skills in an engaging dance...
Your child will learn beginner ballet dance steps in a creative and positive learning environment. They will also learn choreography to a short ballet dance which will teach them various patterns. Dancing to music also teaches the student how to develop rhythm and musicality. And most of all, learn to have fun and enjoy movement!
Please make sure your child is in an area where they can move around freely. Also, having a water bottle nearby during class is encouraged. Students will want to be in comfortable clothes that they can easily move in and hair pulled back. By signing up for this class you should understand that when participating in any exercise or dance program, there is the possibility of physical injury.
