If you would like for your child to go on to regular piano lessons, have them practice playing the black keys and their song every day for 10 minutes. Practice with this YouTube video: https://youtu.be/0l6I5wos0yQ to learn Hot Cross Buns. Try singing it with your child, too. 수업 소개
In this class, we will learn proper seating position for the piano, The students will play the black keys in various locations on the piano, learn that different fingers play different notes, and learn a simple song. It will also start to develop their ear training, which is the recognition of different sounds in the musical range. I am a very encouraging and positive teacher, and very interactive with my students. I will use print-outs of the notes and will demonstrate playing and the sounds of the notes I'm looking for. This class will allow the parent to know if their child is ready for preschool piano lessons. *Note: This class can be part of your event. You can invite friends or family members to join your child in a private class. Just notify me ahead of booking the class. Thank you.*

I have taught children preschool through high school for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor's in Music Education with an emphasis in voice, and have played piano since I was 9 years old. I enjoyed accompanying many of my fellow Music majors for their juries (finals) in college. Knowing the basics gives children the confidence to pursue their favorite instrument and that's an amazing gift.
