Learners will be asked to complete the one-page worksheet and upload a photo to the classroom message board. The worksheet contains the letter of the day in capital and lowercase for the learner to trace and color in, as well as space to draw something with the letter's sound. A blank piece of paper works as well. Additional optional homework: Read one book together with a grownup. During my early literacy training at the public library, I learned an incredible fact: If a grownup reads to a child every day for just 20 minutes — basically one book a day — the child will hear 1.8 million words in one year. Therefore, Ms. Christina wants each learner to read together with a grown-up every day, a book of their choice in any language — it can even be the same book every day! Not only will this daily reading habit expose the learner to an incredible number of words, it will instill in them a lifelong love of reading. With reading being the cornerstone of all subsequent learning, the daily reading habit is the simplest, least expensive way to set your child up for a lifetime of success and joy.제공되는 평가

Learners should bring a shaker (rattle, shaky egg, maraca, or canister with dried rice, beans, or beads inside), something to draw with (crayons, markers, colored pencils, pens) and the printed worksheet or blank piece of paper.
Please be available to "unmute" your learner for their turn to speak, if they cannot "unmute" themselves. Bonus: Model good classroom behavior from just off-camera. If your child sees you singing and going along with the class, they will be more willing to too.
