In this course, we will cover all things, Premier League! The Premier League is one of the most influential sporting leagues in the world, and we will cover it all. We will cover the sporting moments that made us laugh, cry, and lose our minds in order to grow our love of Soccer/Football. I will ask students to engage with one another to create a fun environment where we can do everything from debate to making predictions for future games. Students will use analytical techniques to analyze coaching decisions, and the economic implications of transfers. Additionally, students will be able to work on their communication, listening, creativity, and public speaking skills. My main hope is that students have a blast talking with other like-minded people about their love of the Premier League. (Below is the first 5 weeks and what we will discuss) Week of February 13th: Weekly Premier League Highlights and Predictions (May include highlights from major tournaments like the Champions League or FA Cup) Week of February 20th: Weekly Premier League Highlights and Predictions (May include highlights from major tournaments like the Champions League or FA Cup) Week of March 27th: Weekly Premier League Highlights and Predictions (May include highlights from major tournaments like the Champions League or FA Cup) Week of March 6th: Weekly Premier League Highlights and Predictions (May include highlights from major tournaments like the Champions League or FA Cup) Week of March 13th: Weekly Premier League Highlights and Predictions (May include highlights from major tournaments like Champions League or FA Cup) *Schedule subject to minor changes
학습 목표
I will help students understand how to analyze coaching decisions, economics, and culture in order to strengthen their critical thinking skills. I want to put students in the shoes of coaches, and sporting directors to grow their understanding of international soccer/football. I will create an environment where students can feel comfortable expressing themselves and talking to other like-minded individuals. Most of all, I hope they have fun!
