**I offer a $5 discount each week when you book both a Math and Reading tutoring session**
This is a private 1:1 class. The first session, I will give an assessment to see the child's strengths and weaknesses and to see what the current reading level is. I will contact you at least one week before the first session to learn more about your child and to address any learning needs your child may have. I will create an individualized learning plan that is best suited for your child's learning style. I always either send extra practice worksheets or ideas to help support your child's learning at home. I do like to show the learner strategies to help them understand hard concepts. After each class, I will send a note explaining what was covered and how you can help your child with concepts that they struggled with during this session. Each session is tailored to fit your child's individual needs. If your child has work that they need help on, then please bring that work during the session. You are more than welcome to let me know ahead of time anything that your child may need extra help with and I will work with them on these concepts. I always start my session out by asking the learner to tell me what they are learning in school and if there is anything they will need to work on. I look forward to meeting your child soon!
