How do we find out about what life was like thousands of years ago? This flex class will give your learner an opportunity to explore the world of prehistory and archeology while learning about what life was like for prehistoric people. Over the course of the 4 weeks, students will learn about what people ate, what they wore and the houses they lived in. The class will focus on people who lived in ancient Britain, however there will also be occasions where artefacts (particularly cave paintings) will be shown from around the world. This course focuses on interpreting artefacts and will use different images of artefacts from the time periods to uncover what life was like in the stone age, bronze age and iron age. Primarily, these artefacts are those found in Great Britain, however, at times there will be artefacts presented from around the world.

This is a self paced class, so there are no live meetings. Each week a combination of video and/or Nearpod slides will be provided for learners to access the lessons.
