Join Miss Mackenzie during circle time where we learn and have fun! During this ongoing circle time course, learners will interact by attending a "circle time style" class. Each class will include class rules, introduction song, stretches, calendar time, weather discussion, a letter of the day, a counting/math problem, completing a pattern, and many different interactive songs. On the last day of the week, learners will be able to bring a toy or item to "show and tell" to their classmates! Learners will be encouraged to interact with each other, so we can increase social skills. 

My goal for Circle Time is to expand learners' interaction, participation, and communication! We also work on taking turns and listening to others. 

My teaching style is laid back and fun! I want each student to enjoy each class, but also learn a lot! This course features many circle time activities that students may experience in a school setting. I worked as an ABA Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician for over three years, where I have conducted many circle time groups with kiddos on the autism spectrum. I want students to feel comfortable and successful, as well as having a lot of fun while they are in my class!

Below are some examples of what each class will look like per week:

Week of 5/10:
- Monday- Class expectations, attendance, hello song, stretches, calendar time, weather, letter of the day (A), patterns, counting/math problem, question/discussion of the day, goodbye
- Wednesday- Class expectations, attendance, hello song, stretches, calendar time, weather, letter of the day (B), patterns, counting/math problem, question/discussion of the day, goodbye

Week of 5/17:

*Your learner can join any time without feeling left out or behind :) 

Each class will include a slideshow, as well as many songs, props, and discussion. Each class will include new information, therefore no prior knowledge is needed. Learners will not need any materials, just room to stretch and dance! 

 If your learner is unable to mute and un-mute on their own, please be close by to assist if needed :) 

*Each class will feature some light stretching activities, and some light dancing that may require students to have adequate room. Learners will need an open space where they can stand with enough room to stretch/dance without running into anything or hurting themselves. Light stretching beforehand may be advised if you believe your learner may need it. Proper footwear for jumping is recommended too. My goal is for everyone to have fun, learn, and be safe :)
