👋 Hello, and welcome preschool with Ms. Candice where we always have so much fun! 🥳 🎟️ COUPON FOR ONE FREE WEEK 🎟️ CANDIFREEWEEK20 Each week, students will learn a new science/social studies related theme, letter, sight word, number, and math concept! Classes meet twice a week, and I give lots of optional activities to do at home each week :) OVERVIEW: Greetings, sing days of the week, calendar discussion, introduction to weekly theme, numbers, shapes, new weekly math concept, letters, guided reading, sight word, circle time song, and goodbyes. This course covers everything your child needs to know for kindergarten readiness! 📝 Students will be given plenty of at-home extensions to complete outside the classroom. These are not mandatory assignments! They are meant for ways to enhance and use as an enrichment resources! :) Classes do not build on each other, so learners are able to join any time without feeling they've missed any information! ✨Each week, you will receive class worksheets for students follow along with class teachings! If you do not have access to a printer, that's okay! A sheet of paper and writing utensil (pen, markers, crayons) work perfectly! *If any of these times don't work for you, select "Request Another Time," and I will try to accommodate your request! :) ⭐️ As a parent and teacher, I am dedicated to helping children learn, succeed, and grow as I ensure they are ready for kindergarten success! I have over nine years of teaching experience. I have worked with students from preschool to 12th grade. I have been homeschooling my 7-year-old daughter for three years using curriculum that I have created as well as supplemental curriculum. I have taken training classes on teaching Montessori, and I keep myself educated and up-to-date with teaching methods and practices by reading published articles, taking professional development courses, and reading through new state teaching standards. I also earned my B.A. in Child, Adolescent, and Family Studies, where I studied the impact families have on children and how children learn as infants through adolescent years and how they carry that into adulthood and into their own families.
