This class will be taught with a structural teacher-guided lesson with built-in questions to check for understanding. The curriculum is based on Tennessee-based standards for Pre-algebra(8th grade).  After the lesson, there will be time for students to login into their accounts to complete the practice assignment for the skills taught along with assisted help. The program also has tools that assist with help if needed on the practice problems! 
The class will go as follows:
Bell work(this helps to review skills previously taught to help with future material)
Instruction(taking notes and receiving information on how to do the skills)
Practice(completing the assignment with assisted help if needed.)
Topics that will be covered: The real Number system, exponent rules, scientific notation, multi-step equations, slope-intercept form, qualitative graphs, scatter plots, system of equations(graphing), single inequalities, pythagorean theorem, functions
A Comprehension exam will be provided at the end of the course. You will receive feedback on strengths as well as refinements.
