한국어 원어민 선생님과 함께 한국어 초보 대화 연습하기! - 진행 중

Are you a beginner in Korean?  Have you studied basic Korean conversations?  Have you taken my classes for beginners?  Let's practice basic conversation in Korean :)  I'm a native Korean speaker who lived in Korea for 28 years and have 7 years of teaching experience.  We're going to talk about various topics in Korean in this class.  It'll be a great time practicing Korean and learning Korean culture!  I'm fluent in both Korean and English, so I can help you if you need help!  I'll choose some topics for each week, and you guys can suggest some good topics you guys want to talk about, so I can set the topics of future classes!  We can talk about something which is not the topic of the day, if we have some extra time.

We're going to study with slides I make.  I have lots of interesting things I want to share with you guys!  Every class, we're going to introduce ourselves in Korean (It doesn't need to be perfect.  I can help you,) freely talk about the topic in Korean (I can help you if you need some help, and practice vocabulary related to the topic for the week.  We're not perfect and that's why we're studying now,) and we're going to study Korean we used in conversations and related useful expressions.

Here are the topics we're going to talk about :
November 1 : How to introduce ourselves in Korean?  "저는 ~이에요."
November 8 : Nature!  Let's learn vocabulary about nature and use it with an expression "좋아요 I like ~" and "싫어요 I don't like ~."
November 15 : What do you do for fun?  Let's talk about our hobbies.  Let's learn vocabulary about fun things around us and use an expression "~ 좋아해요," and "~ 해요."
November 22 : Animals!  Let's see the names of animals and see what sound they make in Korean!  What kinds of sound would a puppy make in Korean?
November 29 : Conversation in classroom...
December 6 : Body parts!
December 13 : Weather - How's the weather outside?
December 20 : Present tense - How to express what we're doing now?
December 27 : 자주 쓰는 표현들 - Popular expressions in Korean!  Let's study the most typical expressions in Korean and try conversations with those.
January 3 : 가족 - Let's try conversations related to family!
January 10 : 친구 - How should we talk to friends in Korean?  Let's make some friends!
January 17 : 놀러 갈까? - Fun places to go with friends!
January 24, 28 : 뭐 했어? - Past tense in Korean
January 31, 4 : 뭐 할까? - Future tense in Korean
February 7, 11 : 어제, 오늘, 내일 - Nouns related to days
February 14, 18 : Left it empty for suggestions.  Please tell me what you want to talk about :)

This class requires basic reading skill in Korean characters Hangul and basic understanding in related topics.  It doesn't need to be perfect and knowing how to read Hangul will be enough to take this class.  You don't need to be on a higher level or be perfect at reading.

I'm a native Korean speaker who lived in Korea for 28 years.  I'm fluent in Korean and English both.  I got perfect score in Korean language, math and science sections in the Korean SAT.  I have experience working in college press and thesis correction in Korea.  I have taught Korean language to Korean students for college entrance exams and non-native students for more than 7 years.
