We will learn the basics of creating flowers in a vase in such a way that it is stunning and easily replicable for a variety of flowers. This course will give the basics so that the learner can confidently create stunning and quality artwork that they can be proud of the skills gained and desire to create more. We will take this in steps - creating the background on the first day and the vase and flowers in the next class.

Intro to painting tools and techniques
-Students will learn how to use the sponge to blend and achieve texture
-Students will learn how to use the brushes to blend

Building Upon Skills and Completion
-Students will learn how to create simple flowers using a new painting technique
-Students will learn how to create straight lines
-Students will continue to blend
-Students will learn how to achieve depth and shadow in their painting
-The vase and poppies will be completed
