In this one time class, students will play Kahoot and have Pokémon discussions on the trivia questions! Teacher will read the questions out loud, so you do not have to have experience in reading! Trivia questions will be based on who the characters are, who pokemons evolve into, characteristics of specific pokemon, legendary pokemon questions, and much more! This is a fun, interactive, competitive class for pokemon lovers, or fans of the game that are interested in learning more! Great social time as well! Certificates will be sent out after the class is over!

Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been teaching for 10 years! I played Division One softball and loved being a collegiate student athlete. I also played basketball up until college. I am a proud mother and a dedicated special education teacher with a passion for fitness, coaching, and reading!
I have my self contained elementary education degree (Kindergarten through 9th grade) with endorsements in ELA, Social Studies, and Special Education. I have a Master's Degree in Special Education (Pre-K through age 21).
I have 9 years experience as a 5th grade special education teacher and 2 years experience as an 8th grade general education ELA teacher. I have tutored reading, math, and writing for a variety of students. I believe in making learning fun and offering a variety of strategies to help students find the tools that fit them best.
