포켓몬 화학: 혼합물

In this one-time course, students will learn about mixtures.  Students will learn what a mixtures is, the difference between homogenous and hetrogeneous mixtures, and about three different types of mixtures: alloys, suspensions and solutions.  We'll play three Pokemon quiz games during the class that will test students on what they've learned.

This course is a Pokemon themed course. All of the quiz games we play incorporate Pokemon. For example, in one game there is a gym Pokemon battle and the students have to answer quiz questions during the battle in order to beat my Pokemon and earn a "Chemistry gym badge". I also weave Pokemon into the material as I can, although the content is not saturated with Pokemon. 

The format of this class is a mix of lecture and presentation. I am a Chemical Engineer.
