Welcome to Friendship Haven Online Learning!

Do you have a play-doh loving, early learner in your house? This is the perfect class for them! English as a second language (ESL) learners are always welcome to join too.

Topics covered in class will consist of but not limited to: letters of the alphabet, numbers 1-20, animals, days of the week, four seasons, shapes, colors, and more! This class is learner-directed, so topics will be tailored to focus on our current interests!

I will ensure each student gets a chance to speak and ask questions if they wish, as well as respecting anyone who may not feel comfortable doing so. I'm a firm believer that children do learn best when they're able to use their bodies to learn, as well as their minds! Topics will be customized based on each group's individual interests and needs. We will learn a different subject daily. English Language Arts, Math, Science and Life Skills weekly.

Week of October 17th - Tuesday - Letter "A"
We will talk about capitol and lower case "A", the sounds it makes and what starts with "A"? We will use our own playdough to construct our own letters.

Wednesday - Numbers 1 & 2
We will practice counting objects in groups of 1 & 2. Construct numbers 1 & 2 with our playdough, as well as making objects in groups of 1 and 2 number song.

Thursday - Animal or Insect focus depending on student interests
We will discuss an animal or insect, learn about their habitat, what they eat, and where they live. We will use our playdough to make our own animals or insects together as a class.

Friday - Weekly recap of what we learned this week. Discuss our favorite topics and end with show & tell.
