Photography couldn't get any easier with an effortless out-of-your-seat guided practice. This class teaches your young student about their camera inside and out. Experience isn't required; students will be led, in the beginning, to photograph what they see at home—ending the course with a small project. Week 1: Intro to your digital camera and learn how it works. We will get to know each other and learn basic camera operations. We will have a daily lesson in visual composition, getting...
Simple camera operations using a point-and-shoot, DSLR, or mirrorless camera. I will ask students what camera they are using and what they hope to learn—at the same time, guiding them through simple steps to using a camera. Depending on the camera model,s we will cover White Balance, ISO, and Exposure modes with hands-on knowledge. We will photograph a little during class, so bring an object you like to photograph. The goal is more confidence.
