This is an introductory course where we start right from the beginning for children just entering their reading journey. I am a certified special education teacher for students in grades K-12, with more than 20 years experience at the elementary and middle school level. I also have a 13yo son with Autism who teaches me the best ways to be a teacher daily.

I am a certified special education teacher, and teach math on a daily basis to a crew of diverse and neurospicy learners. Students under the ASD umbrella, as well as student with attention / ADHD needs are encouraged.
Student should be able to hold a pencil / marker in their hand and be able to create strokes on a page.

Some tasks use an "Elementary Magnet Set with Folding Board", as found on Amazon for $20, but the tasks can also be completed by using magnet letters (like the kind used on fridges), foam letters, or any sort of physical representation of the letter.
