While the science of reading shows that all students learn best through multi-sensory instruction, it is crucial for students with dyslexia. In addition to my masters degree in reading education, I also have obtained my 60 hours of training in Orton Gillingham training. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education and a masters degree in reading education. I also have obtained my 60 hours of training in Orton Gillingham. I resigned from my position as a reading coach at a local public school to homeschool my son with severe dyslexia.
Students should come to class with a white board, dry erase marker, and eraser. If this is not available, students can use pencil and paper.
