🌟 The student will receive a full week of spelling instruction, activities, and practice with only one live meeting. What is a flipped classroom? A flipped classroom is a pedagogical model that flips traditional lectures and homework. Students have access to the instructional content before the class meeting to consume the content and practice the skills. This makes the class meeting time more effective and efficient by focusing specifically on the challenging material and receiving answers...
Students will learn the proper spelling and usage of words in the English language appropriate for their grade level. There is a special focus on phonemic awareness, homophones, and words that just don't fit the "rules".
I am a state-certified Elementary Teacher who has become aware of the absence of structured spelling instruction in the schools today. In my private reading tutoring practice, I have watched my students become strong and independent spellers by using my approach. Over 2,800 students have taken my spelling classes in either a live or flex format.

The method of instruction used in this class is Phono-Graphix which is based on the science of reading and is Dyslexia-friendly.
Students will only need lined writing paper, a pencil, and colored pencils or fine-tipped markers to use during class. Spelling lists and activity pages will be found in the classroom for printing on the day of each class meeting. Although the homework worksheets are recommended, they are not required.
