This is a personalized, informal, one-on-one math assessment. The assessment will evaluate skills essential for math success. I will evaluate number formation, number sense, counting, skip-counting, ordinal numbers, addition, mental math, place value, comparing numbers, basic logic, and multiplication (if applicable). It is recommended, but not required, that a child has completed a solid kindergarten program prior to being assessed. Following the assessment, you will receive a report with my findings. The report will include my findings and some follow-up suggestions. You will typically receive the report within three-four business days of the assessment.

I am a licensed teacher in the State of Indiana with over 25 years experience teaching, tutoring and coaching. I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham method by The Dyslexia Institute of Indiana and in Kindergarten OG by the M.A. Rooney Foundation. I have also completed Advanced Orton-Gillingham Training and Written Expression Training through the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana. I have completed courses on Dyslexia, Structured Literacy, and Autism through the Montessori Foundation. I have also taken one of Dr. Becky Bailey's Conscious Discipline training. I am a professional member of the International Dyslexia Association. I have completed LETRS training through Voyager Sopris Learning, earning Certificates of Mastery for each of the eight units (earning scores of 98% or higher for every assessment). In 2018-2020 I worked in a private Montessori school serving students who have Individual Service Plans. I homeschooled my own children in Grades 1 through 8, gaining experience with a variety of homeschool curriculums. 리뷰
