This class is a private, 1:1 class that provides tutoring for your preschool or kindergarten aged child. The lessons will be tailored to the skills you would like your child to work on. Class time can be used to introduce/teach new skills, or to reinforce skills they already know but may be struggling with. Skills will be taught in fun, engaging ways through the use of stories, games, songs, worksheets and more. Some lessons may include follow up practice sheets as well. 

I have my elementary education degree for grades prek-4. I also have spent the last 10 years working in an early childhood education center. Creating fun and engaging lesson plans is something I love to do, and I look forward to working with your learner!

Please know that in order for tutoring to be successful, there must be consistent communication to ensure that I am creating lesson plans on the skills you would like to have your child work on. After each class, I will send a follow up message letting you know how the lesson went!

Alphabet (upper/lowercase letters, formations, sounds)
Writing (names, letters, numbers)
Literacy Skills (parts of a book, predictions, story elements)
Math (counting, numbers, one-to-one correspondence, basic addition and subtraction, shapes, patterns, sorting)
Colors
Social Skills
