In this class, students will make a gingerbread girl or boy as they learn the parts of the body in French. Students will be sent a manipulative to use in class prior to the class meeting. As a class, we will learn the words for gingerbread, boy, girl, head, face, eyes, nose, mouth, arms, legs, body, stomach, buttons, shirt, shorts, shirt, bow, bow tie, and hair. In addition, students will learn the primary colors in French. At the end of class, they will present their gingerbread boy or girl ...
Students will use body parts and colors in French to describe the gingerbread boy or girl they create with the teacher in class.
Bonjour! I am a licensed French teacher for grades preK-12. I have a BA in French and an MA in Sociolinguistics. I have over 10 years of teaching experience in the classroom and over 3 years teaching online. I also am a certified ESL teacher and I lived in the south of France teaching English as well.
