수업 소개
In this ongoing art painting class students will learn some fun techniques to paint some beautiful tropical and abstract paintings. Students will be guided through the projects at a relaxed pace allowing for instruction, conversation and making friends with others who have similar interests. We will be using acrylics to paint some simple sketches. Students will learn some simple sketching and painting techniques and practice some simple but fun art. Pictures will be tropical in nature and may vary depending on student preference. Week of Jan. 9th – Tropical Abstract Ocean Week of Jan. 16th – Tropical Jellyfish Week of Jan. 23rd – Tropical Octopus Week of Jan. 30th – Tropical Porpoises Week of Feb. 6th – Tropical Seahorse

Students will learn some fun new techniques for painting with acrylics as they get creative with their classmates.

Students will be painting and using water for this class. Students should have a workspace that is covered or protected from any spills or paint.
수업 자료
Students should come to class with paper (multiple sheets), pencils, erasers, acrylic paints-various colors, mixed media/watercolor paper, and paint brushes. Students will be provided with the colors of paints being used in class but are free to use other colors if they like. A detailed list of supplies and colors will be provided upon enrollment.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
I believe I have a LOT to bring to the classroom and I’m EXCITED to begin on this journey in learning with you! I hope to see YOU in my classroom soon!
