This Sibling Spanish Lessons class offers a unique and engaging way to learn Spanish through realistic storytelling! Rather than focusing solely on formal grammar and vocabulary, we delve into the world of realistic storytelling, enabling students to master phrases and expressions that are truly relevant to their daily lives. Through interactive stories your learners will develop a strong foundation in everyday vocabulary and expressions, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively in Spanish. Our class time will also include engaging activities and games, ensuring that learners actively participate and enjoy their learning journey.

Here are our topics that will be covered over the next several weeks:

INTERACTIVE STORY: Spanish Adventures with Emily: First Day Excitement

1. Week of January 10:  Basic terms related to the classroom, introducing oneself
2. Week of January 17:  Recess and playground vocabulary, common phrases related to play
3. Week of January 14:  Basic food and drink vocabulary, common phrases related to meals
4. Week of January 31:  Vocabulary and phrases to express preferences (likes and dislikes).

Greetings and Introductions:
   * Learning how to say "hello," "goodbye," and introduce oneself.


Numbers and Counting:
    * Basics of counting and understanding numbers in Spanish.

Colors and Shapes:
    * Identifying and describing colors and basic shapes in Spanish.

Family Members:
    * Vocabulary related to family members and basic family relationships.


Everyday Activities:
    * Expressing daily routines and activities in Spanish.


Food and Drinks:
    * Basic food and drink vocabulary, as well as common phrases related to meals.


Animals:
    * Learning names of common animals and related vocabulary.


Common Objects:
    * Vocabulary related to everyday objects and items.

Weather Expressions:
    * Basic phrases to talk about the weather in Spanish.

Simple Directions:
    * Understanding and giving basic directions in Spanish.

Expressing Likes and Dislikes:
    * Vocabulary and phrases to express preferences.

Celebrations and Holidays:
    * Learning about Spanish-speaking cultures through celebrations and holidays.

Clothing and Accessories:
    * Vocabulary related to clothing items and accessories.

School Vocabulary:
    * Basic terms related to the school environment.

Basic Grammar Concepts:
    * Introduction to simple sentence structures and grammar rules.
